Les premiers Landry en Irlande sont identifiés dans la ville de Queenstown maintenant nommée Cobh. Ils ont probablement migré des Cornouailles ou des Landry sont installés depuis des centaines d'années.
Monument dans le port de Cobh à la première famille (Annie Moore) ayant émigré aux États-Unis et entrée par le terminal de Ellis Island et la statue de La Liberté le 1er janvier 1892.
